College Beat is a great place to meet new people, get acquainted with peers who share the same interests, to broaden your skills and knowledge of TV productions, and to build your resume. If you are interested in film, acting, broadcasting, writing, directing, producing, coordinating, editing, or camera work, this is the place for you. All current students are invited to be a volunteer or intern for College Beat. If you already have an area of interest and expertise in the field of TV production, College Beat can help you broaden your skills and further develop your expertise through hands-on experience. If you have no experience, this is the perfect place for you to get your feet wet. We provide an intensive workshop at the beginning of each year to introduce all areas of production and to teach students how to use the equipment efficiently. It is College Beat's goal to help you develop professional skills using state-of-the art equipment with guidance from your peers.
